Shall we Dance?

So i Dance
Asking all the questions
in a spin
chest open
heart broken
like a bleeding mention
i hide and turn
stripping the words off my silence
i rain in tears upon your magnificence
each step is a universe
that is yours and mine
i am the cup and you my wine
each twirl is a flowing river
each blink brings along a shiver
rising along your stares
i fly
to your heavens
and lovingly burn
in your reason's hell

But i dance
with you in my eyes
for you listen to my sways
with every breath
i shall live again
resurrected out of this pain
recollected
reinvented
where we can always fly
where all the answers can die
there, on the arena of our wildest imagination.

Joy and pain, dancing through them all, to enhance one and ease the other. This was so delicately, yet powerfully written

Love the idea of dancing, asking all the questions. And how nice it must be to have someone to dance with in your eyes. I like the idea of then living again. This poem expresses the dance of life, I think. In a way we all are the dancers.

I like how you contrasted the two stanzas, showing the pain and then the relief. Nice rhythm and imagery!

I rain in tears upon your magnificence... there is strength and beauty even in the brokenness. Hope, tenderness, intimacy intermingled despite the bruises.

I agree - dance can be amazingly intimate - where we really transcend boundaries. Nice work.

The dance, the sway to remove the pain. Excellent imagery of what a relationship can do to us.. So much better than stumbling on each other's toes...
